Thomas Daede. After an ordeal with the post office, I managed to receive my ColorHug2 as well. However, on Fedora 22, the colorhug-refresh utility is the only program that works, and produces bogus though consistent results. Also, the LiveCD mirror is down, so I can't try a newer image. Got my ColorHug2 and finally am able to play with it a bit now that I am on vacation. But, up in the top left of the screen, the word Applications is actually a menu, and everything you need is there menu under System Tools : You can use the Firmware Updater to make sure your ColorHug's firmware is up to date, or the CCMX loader if you have a wide-gamut monitor.

It worked! My colorhug is now happily reporting firmware version Oddly enough the binary itself is about 14k of size, while colorhugbin is almost 20k. Maybe the compiler has been improved. The ColorHug is a colorimeter, not a photospectrometer. If you have a wide-gamut display, you need to have the latter for best results, or at least have a color matrix which you load into the ColorHug for your particularly display type prepared by someone who does.
